1985 Vaernet was the object of the first chapter of the danish book by Harly Foged/Henrik Kr�ger "The North route" , "Nordruten"(Bogan) from 1985 . Here is the first page (photocopy courtesy of Kurt Krickler, Austrian translator). The stated outrage over Carl Vaernet�s deeds is somewhat undercut by Harly Foged�s apolegic book about danish SS-soldiers in 1983.
